A new year, a new start. 2012 is the year I will get married, and hopefully the year that I succeed in crossing lots of things off of my list. In the past my list contained place names, and in 2010 and 2011 I was lucky enough to visit most of these, so I had to decide on new goals, new dreams, new challenges. I’m using Day Zero to tick them off, and will aim to keep a record here for my own record, and in the hope of getting to know others with similar goals.

So the top of my 2012 to-do list is:

1. Get married – taken a long while to get here, my FH and I have been together for almost seven years and I am very excited and nervous to become a Mrs. We are having a summer ceremony and will be making as much as we can ourselves to keep costs down and have it fit our own style and personality.

2. Complete a Project 365 – and maybe even a 366 in this leap year.

3. Reach my goal weight – I lost 40 lbs before my travels, and (after a little put back on) I have 30lbs to lose in my slightly shallow wedding dress diet.

4. Read and write and create – I’m fed up of just looking at other people’s achievements on pinterest; it is time to find my own art.
